Painting with Sam: Fundraiser for Ukraine

Show solidarity to the Ukrainian people and come paint these beautiful soniashnyki (Ukrainian word for sunflowers) with us! The ubiquitous presence of the sunflower in the villages and countryside of Ukraine has made it an unofficial national symbol.

Along with creating your own one of a kind painting, you will receive a flight of wine or a large wine slushie! (Non-alcoholic beverages available for younger guests.). Sam will walk you through the painting step by step. Expect a fun time with wine, friends and laughter. You are welcome to bring your own food.

Proceeds from this event will be donated to the Ukrainian charitable fund Come Back Alive, one of the most trusted non-profit organizations donating resources and time to the defenders of Ukraine. Lera Beussink who is a native of the Ukrainian capital city of Kyiv and current Carlisle resident will provide a brief intro into Ukrainian culture and history. There will be additional opportunities for donations during the event, as well as raffles to win multiple Ukrainian goodies.
