Join Plantscapes by Design at The Winery at the Long Shot Farm on this Mother’s Day, May 12th at 3:00 pm for a plant workshop! Participants will plant an adorable birdbath with a variety of colorful succulents or annual plants. Additionally, each ticket holder will receive a wine slushie, glass of wine, or flight of wine.

The ladies at Plantscapes by Design will provide all the materials for the workshop and tips/tricks on caring for your arrangement.

Join us for a painting event at the Winery with Sam, Friday, May 17th at 6pm. Along with creating your own one of a kind painting, you will receive a flight of wine or a large wine slushie! (Non-alcoholic beverages available for younger guests.). Sam will walk you through the painting step by step. Expect a fun time with wine, friends and laughter. We welcome you to bring your own food.

Wes Hoke returns to The Winery at the Long Shot Farm with acoustic covers and original songs.  He will be playing from 5pm – 8pm.  There is NO COVER CHARGE.  Music at the winery is free to listen to for all paying customers. Remember, all alcohol must be purchased from the winery.

Rob Smiley’s House of Smoke BBQ Truck will be set up at the winery from 5-8pm serving smoked meats, homemade soups, and sides. Feel free to bring your own chairs or blankets. Friendly pets on leashes are allowed outside and please, do not touch the grapes. They are fragile!

Join us at the Winery for a polymer clay earring workshop – where creativity meets friendship and wine!

For $70, craft two pairs of unique earrings and savor the joy of quality time with your pals. This is a perfect gift or just for a fun time out, give the experience of laughter, creativity, and stylish earrings to someone special. Let’s toast to friendship, fun, and fabulous earrings! This event runs 3-3.5 hours long.

Following the crafting session, indulge in an hour of delightful socializing. While your creations bake to perfection in the oven for 60 minutes, relish in the opportunity to unwind with a glass of wine and delectable snacks, exchanging stories and laughter with fellow participants.

As the session progresses into its third hour, it’s time for assembly. Engage in the intricate process of drilling holes into your earrings and skillfully attaching embellishments using jump rings. Complete your masterpieces by affixing ball posts, hooks, or other ear attachments, ensuring they’re ready to adorn and dazzle.

Get ready for an enriching experience filled with creativity, camaraderie, and the joy of crafting your very own earrings from start to finish!

Visit the Winery at the Long Shot Farm offsite at the Newville Fountain Festival. We will be serving wine slushies, glasses of wine, and bottles to go.  Come out and celebrate this historic town with some local home grown vino.

Matt Bowman will be playing music this evening from 5:00-8:00pm.  We invite you to celebrate summer, sample a slushy or sip some wine while you listen to some great music.  There is NO COVER CHARGE. Music at the winery is free to listen to for all paying customers. The Grappling Crab Shack will also be at the Winery this evening with crab cakes and other specialty seafood items.
