Join us at the Winery for our first Trivia Night Event! Teams can be up to 4 people. Purchase 1 ticket per team.

“So no one told you life was gonna be this way, ????” Join us at The Winery at the Long Shot Farm for a Themed Trivia on Friday, February 21st at 6pm, hosted by Cheaters Never Prosper. Our theme for this event is Friends Trivia! Doors open at 5:30PM and the first question is announced at 6:00PM.

With the purchase of your ticket your team will receive a $20 Long Shot Farm gift card upon arrival to use on your first purchase. “I KNOW!” You will also get 4 guaranteed spots for your trivia team.”Could I BE any more excited???” If your team is more than 4 people, you will need to purchase a second ticket. You must come with your email confirmation of the ticket (on your phone is fine) and ID showing you are 21+ to receive the gift card. Welcome to Wine & Sign Wednesdays!

Alyssa Arter and The Winery at The Long Shot Farm are pleased to bring you this experience of learning and merriment as we sip our way through language acquisition.

American Sign Language (ASL) is a beautifully expressive language that utilizes hand gestures, facial expressions, and yes, sounds to communicate. Join us as we learn to communicate with one another without words! Both series will focus heavily on vocabulary acquisition, while also picking up some tips on appropriate communication and deaf culture. Classes will be fast paced, but geared toward the beginning signer. No experience needed!

This series will occur in two parts: Series 1 and Series 2. Each class will meet once per week, for 8 consecutive weeks. Each student will be entitled to ONE FREE glass of wine or small wine slushie per week. Additional glasses may be purchased on site. Those under 21 years of age will receive a bottle of water and a snack. Required textbook will be provided and used for both series. Classes are intended for adult beginners (16+) and/or those looking to brush up on skills. Please come equipped with paper and pencils for note taking.

* Pre registration and payment are required by 12pm on Saturday, February 22nd to allow adequate time for textbook delivery. Please send an email to alyssa.swings@gmail.com to confirm your registration and receive payment instruction. Alternately, registration and payment can be completed on site at The Winery at The Long Shot Farm.

* Classes will be capped at 15 participants to maintain an optimal learning environment, so don’t delay!

We are starting a book club and reaching out to anyone who would be interested in joining! We thought we would start with “The Help” and we can chat about it during our first event. This is a great time to meet new people, and be introduced to books that are new to you. During the event, we can vote/choose the book for the next months meeting, so bring ideas to suggest!

Feel free to bring snacks to share. Wine available for purchase.

Fun fact: Tina & Jeff’s son-in-law is Duff Neill. Duff’s family is from Mississippi, where this book takes place. One of the minor characters in the book, Dr. Neil, is actually inspired by Duff’s grandfather, Dr. Nell of Jackson Mississippi.

Bring your projects out to the winery and work with us in the tasting room. If you want to learn to knit or crochet, send us a message and we’ll make sure we have the supplies to teach you with a small fee to cover knitting needles and yarn!

Come celebrate ‘Pi Day’ with us here at The Winery at The Long Shot Farm on March 14th. Purchase your ticket by March 12th to ensure we have enough pie for you!

With each ticket purchase you receive: 3 – 2 oz wine pours, 3 slices of different locally made pie, and our wine and pie pairing guide for the day.

Drop in on March 14th any time between 1 and 9 pm to receive your pie slices, wine and pairing guide. (JCT 114 will be providing live music from 6:30 – 9:30 pm so plan your visit accordingly).
