First Book Club! – The Help

We are starting a book club and reaching out to anyone who would be interested in joining! We thought we would start with “The Help” and we can chat about it during our first event. This is a great time to meet new people, and be introduced to books that are new to you. During the event, we can vote/choose the book for the next months meeting, so bring ideas to suggest!

Feel free to bring snacks to share. Wine available for purchase.

Fun fact: Tina & Jeff’s son-in-law is Duff Neill. Duff’s family is from Mississippi, where this book takes place. One of the minor characters in the book, Dr. Neil, is actually inspired by Duff’s grandfather, Dr. Nell of Jackson Mississippi.
