Rob Smiley’s House of Smoke BBQ Truck will be set up at the winery from 5-7pm.  Celebrate the end of summer with some smoked meat,  homemade soups & side dishes, and your favorite wine.  Feel free to bring your own chairs or blankets. Friendly pets on leashes are allowed outside and please, do not touch the grapes. They are fragile! Nick and Sierra will also be playing acoustic guitar music and singing this evening.  All tips at the bar will go to the band so be sure to show them some love!

We invite you to join us Monday, September 20th, at 6 pm for an evening of wine and cheese. During our event, please expect a basic introduction to cheese making, categorization, and cheese evaluation. We will then discuss the pairings of various Long Shot wines to the evaluated cheeses and additional foods. (Event is expected to last approximately 1.5 hours.)

Ann Starbard will be your guide through our cheese pairing event. Ann formerly owned and operated a farmstead goat cheese business in Massachusetts for twenty years. During this time she studied cheese sensory evaluation and analysis at the Vermont Institute for Artisan Cheese. Ann also participated in sensory evaluation training at the international level while attending a Goat Association conference in the Canary Islands. She has led workshops in cheese making and tasting and dairy goat management in Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Tennessee and the Caribbean island of Grenada. Ann is the author of “The Dairy Goat Handbook”, a complete guide to dairy goat care.

This weekend stop by and try a Grazing Box prepared by Central Wedge.  These boxes offer a diverse variety of flavors, from sweet fruit and dips to salty cheeses and savory charcuterie.

Cheese Flight (1 person) – $14

1 oz serving of 5 different cheeses selected to pair with the Winery at Long Shot Farm wines, plus jam, nuts and berries.

Small Grazing Box (1-2 people) – $12

2 cheeses, 1 charcuterie, crackers or bread, a variety of seasonal vegetables and fruit, and hummus dip in a compostable box.

Medium Grazing Box (3-6 people) – $35

3 cheeses, 1 charcuterie, crackers or bread, a variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables, and dip or jam in a compostable box.

Large Grazing Board (8+ people, max 16)  – $16 per person, must be ordered in advance

4 cheeses, 2 charcuterie, crackers or bread, a variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables, dip and jam.  Served on a board with chalkboard insert (not disposable).

Stop by The Winery and try some great wines and sweet treats on November 13th. Brooke’s Cakes and Sweets will create four macarons to be paired with a four pour flight of our semi-sweet to sweet wines*. Grab your family and friends and plan for time together during this in-person self-led pairing OR please stop by from 2-9 pm to PICK-UP your items to go.
